Powerhouse Events Marketing & Promotions (Powerhouse E.M.P.) was started in 2005 by two individuals Johnathan “Kocky” Hamilton and Tony Khuu as an opportunity to recreate to Central Florida’s dull nightlife and expand it with a consistent array of events and parties. Powerhouse also specializes in Advertising and Event Planning. Powerhouse prides themselves in being diverse and actively seeks people of different backgrounds and cultures. Powerhouse is becoming one of Orlando’s prime resources in urban nightlife. We here at Powerhouse feel relationships and integrity is what keeps a business going which is why we adopted the motto “Quality is Power.

DJ 108
DJ 108, better known as Jonathan Warner has been mastering the art of turntable surgery for more than six years, while starting his career with the “Hollow Tip DJ’s” as just a high school student. DJ 108 is the premier disk jockey for PowerHouse Promotions, based out of Orlando, Florida. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, or Dade County as it is know by many, DJ 108 gets his name from the street that his family has lived on for all of his life; 108th avenue, in the southwest part of Miami. Not only a disc jockey, 108 is pursuing a marketing degree for the University of South Florida, and has had a business mind since a very young age. He is a graduate from one south Florida’s most prestigious business magnet high schools, and was a member of their nationally acclaimed youth business competition team. DJ 108 combines is turntable mastery along with his marketing skills to revolutionize the business of the DJ. While promoting new talent and incorporating them with well-established artist, 108 is able saturate the market with a constant new feel.

DJ DEV
From a land where students of every ethnicity party all week, rappers become singing superstars, and politicians decide the fate of the state, comes a young man that isn’t afraid to step into the spotlight. At the age of 14, DJ DEV surrounded himself with a network of the cities most powerful players, earning him a prime time Friday night mix show spot on the local hip hop radio station BLAZIN 102.3. With the support of his peers and predecessors he scratched his way into gigs that he wasn’t even old enough to attend, in two cities. Being one of the few DJ’s that can spin great records while hosting at the same time, gave him an edge over the competition and was part of the reason he was asked to represent T-Pain’s official DJ coalition, the NappyBoy DJs, in their efforts to promote the brand and break records across the globe. Since he moved to Orlando, he’s earned his Bachelor’s degree from Full Sail, and joined forces with the PowerHouse EMP family. He’s now putting his degree to use by producing/engineering music, promotional material, and mixtapes with his production group the 3TARDS. Come out and enjoy yourself, he’ll be spinning weekly at Rain Ultra Lounge on Thursdays, Roxy Nightclub on Fridays, and hosting Voyage for Celebration Saturdays.

AJ The Klassic
Known to many as the Voice of PowerHouse, he has been an up and coming host in the Orlando area for the last several years. Originally from down south Miami, Florida he has been able to capture the attention of crowds like no other. He got his humble beginning at the University of Central Florida while apart of the illustrious Fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. Standing out as a trendsetter, AJ decided to take it a step further to becoming one of Central Florida’s elite MC’s. You can catch him at all the PowerHouse events demanding attention with his catchy phrases. This is only the beginning for the voice of PowerHouse, Central Florida look out for him on a bigger stage real soon.

Superman
In a classroom of his own, too far gone for competition. Superman got his humble beginnings hosting and throwing parties in his hometown of Jacksonville, Fl. After 2 years in the game and taking over the high school party circuit, Supa then relocated to Orlando in 2007. By fall of the same year he was introduced to Orlando’s nightlife. He has been cranking parties for Powerhouse E.M.P. and hosting parties at almost all of Orlando’s hottest clubs ever since. Also pursuing his Marketing degree, this Duval mic checka naturally and quickly was embraced by his fellow college peers. In addition to the club, you can catch Supa on UCF’s campus hosting different events. Currently he’s been working with his new production group, 3TARDS, on mixtapes, as well as hosting mixtapes for other artists. Superman shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon and continues to build his rapport in the industry!
